Challenge
Strix Systems provides enterprise wireless LAN systems in a marketplace over-crowded with wireless vendors. Making noise amongst all of the other players is challenging at best. Connect PR® was hired in June of 2003 to help Strix overcome the noise and rise above the competition.

Strix Systems needed to have a full-blown, powerful introduction to the press/analyst community in which it could demonstrate its unique approach to wireless networking. Its second challenge would then be to maintain contact with the press and create an innovate edge in the minds of the press/analyst community.

Strategy
To start with the bang Strix needed, Connect PR® set up a 22-appointment press/analyst tour. Connect followed the tour up with regular meetings with the press on plans for the future and regular meetings with the press and analysts on Strix's view on current market trends.

Results
Strix is now the first company to come to mind when editors or analysts talk about enterprise mesh networking. Efforts to show Strix's market leadership have resulted in great recognition by major press outlets. Both Network World and Network Computing named Strix Systems as one of the 10 startup companies that will have an impact on the market in 2004. From June 2003 through the beginning of 2004, Connect PR® was able to secure nearly 50 interviews for Strix executives and more than 200 articles in such publications as:
