Neil Myers, Founder and President (neilm@connectpr.com)
Myers has been involved with the high-tech industry for more than 20 years. He started one of the first network utility software firms, Pacific Software, in 1983. After selling Pacific Software in 1989, Myers started Connect Public Relations to provide strategic marketing consulting to such clients as Microsoft, Intel, HP, and others.
Myers' focus and commitment to excellence has fueled rapid growth for Connect Public Relations. In 1996, Connect Public Relations (then Network Associates) became the first PR firm ever to be listed on the prestigious Inc. 500 list of fastest growing privately-held companies.
Myers received a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering from the University of California at Berkeley. An avid pilot, he lives in Santa Barbara, Calif., where he enjoys spending time with his family.
Sherri Walkenhorst, Senior Partner (sherriw@connectpr.com)
With more than 18 years communications experience, Walkenhorst has counseled companies ranging from market leaders to emerging technology start-ups.
Prior to joining Connect Public Relations in 1991, Walkenhorst served as managing editor and marketing manager for LAN Times and as the marketing manager for a telecommunications company. With an insider's knowledge of the industry, Walkenhorst's successes include thought leadership programs, crisis communications, strategic planning, acquisitions, and results-based media and analyst relations.
Walkenhorst earned her Bachelor of Arts and Master's degrees from Brigham Young University. When she's not in the office, her favorite pastimes include spending time with family, cooking, reading and skiing. She also collects children's literature.
Holly Hagerman, Senior Partner (hollyh@connectpr.com)
Hagerman has more than 13 years of experience leading strategic PR programs for network infrastructure, PC peripheral and telecommunications companies, including Lexmark International, Internet Security Systems, F5 Networks, AskMe.com, Efficient Networks, and Siemens Communications Inc.
Hagerman specializes in developing communication programs that reach diverse audiences—from business and financial media to industry influencers and vertical market media. She has vast experience building multi-faceted PR programs that include executive visibility, message development, media and analyst relations, product evaluations, corporate profiles, IPOs, and acquisitions.
Hagerman earned a Bachelor of Arts in public relations from Brigham Young University. Prior to joining Connect PR, she served as PR assistant for ABC's Good Morning America and PR manager for the U.S. Ski Team. One of her favorite pastimes is marathon running. She was one of the elite athletes who qualified for and competed in the US Woman's Olympic Trials for the Sydney Olympics.
Mike Bradshaw, Partner (mikeb@connectpr.com)
With more than 11 years of high-tech communications experience, Mike Bradshaw has counseled a wide variety of high-tech companies ranging from market leaders like Sun Microsystems and Symantec to emerging technology start-ups.
Areas of focus include strategic planning, crisis management, new product launches, product reviews, media and analyst relations, IPOs and acquisitions. Bradshaw's vast network of media contacts results in more than 400 one-on-one media interviews per year in a wide variety of media including business, trade, consumer, vertical and financial publications.
Bradshaw earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and Marketing from Brigham Young University. When he's not in the office, his pastimes include skiing, snowmobiling, or other extreme type activities such as early morning piano practicing with his children.
Janeen Bullock, Managing Partner (janeenb@connectpr.com)
Bullock directs the day to day business side of Connect. Bullock has more than 20 year's managerial and administrative experience. Her responsibilities include human resources, administrative staff management, corporate financial accountability and general office management duties.
Prior to joining Connect in 1998, Bullock served as marketing manager at Franklin Covey and managed the book publishing and direct mail operations for the company's public programs.
Bullock earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Information Management from Brigham Young University. When she's not in the office she enjoys reading, gardening and spending time with her family.
